We're telling you to Get in the Way. In all seriousness.

That's the theme for Hammonasset 2012--for more info and if you're thinking "huh? get in what way?" click on the link to the left that says "About the Theme."

Last year's service projects went stellar, and we have similar projects planned for 2012--here are some cool notes from 2011:

  • We made 83 fleece blankets last year and hope to make 100 in 2012
  • We made 800 health kits last year and hope to make 1000 this year
  • Last year we made 20,000 meals and have set the goal to do the same in 2012
  • Groups did clean-up and yard work in two New Haven neighborhoods through New Haven Housing, and at a transitional housing building through Christian Community Action
  • Some groups painted a basement in a house for sale to a lower-income family
